My mom’s grandmother used to make these.

Ingredients:

Amount of Ingredients

2 cups of regular flour

1 cup of sugar

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 teaspoon of baking soda

Add half a teaspoon of salt.

1 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon

Butter without salt (melted) 1/2 cup

Two big eggs.

1 cup of whole milk or buttermilk

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Sugar Mix:

Amount of Ingredients

Butter without salt (melted) 2 tablespoons

1/4 cup of sugar

1 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon

Instructions:

Heat the oven before using. Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cover a 9×5 inch loaf pan with grease or lining.

Mix the powdered ingredients together. In a big bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Mix the liquid ingredients together. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract using a whisk.

Mix the wet and dry ingredients together. Slowly mix the liquid ingredients into the dry ones, stirring until they are just mixed.

Pour into the pan. Pour the batter into the loaf pan that has been prepared.

Cook in the oven. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. If it gets too brown, cover it with foil.

Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top. Once the bread is still warm, spread melted butter on it and sprinkle with a mix of cinnamon and sugar.

Chill and serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before moving it to a wire rack to cool down completely. Cut and savor!

Enjoy your tasty cinnamon sugar donut!

Enjoy!
